An industrial park in Shandong Province recently signed an agreement to establish a smart manufacturing base for trailer parts. The project, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and covering 200 mu (approximately 33 acres), will have eight automated production lines, focusing on the production of trailer braking systems, connecting devices, and other parts, with an expected annual production capacity of 600,000 sets. The base will introduce robotic assembly and intelligent quality inspection equipment to achieve full-process digital management of parts production, with a product qualification rate of up to 99.9%. After reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate annual revenue exceeding 4.5 billion yuan, attracting more than 10 supporting enterprises and improving the regional trailer parts industry chain.
